Computer maker Acer America has announced a new line up of its Aspire One netbooks, which now includes dual-core processing power.
The company launched the Aspire One AOD255, based on the Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor, alongside the updated Aspire One AO721 and AO521 that feature AMD Athlon II Neo processors. The new line up is aimed at better productivity and longer battery life, wi-fi connectivity, and an ultra-thin one-inch design for the convenience of mobile computing users. It comes with a multi-gesture touchpad that allows users to pinch, flick and swirl their fingers across the touchpad to scroll, zoom in and out, and flip through web pages, photos, spreadsheets and more.
Pricing stfor the AOD255 dual-core Atom N550 version starts at $329.99, while the earlier line up of single-core Atom N450 processors remains priced at $269.99. The Aspire One AO721 has a recommended price of $429.99 while the AO521 is priced at $349.99. |
