Acxiom Corporation, a company that offers interactive marketing services, has opened its Global Service Center (GSC) in Nantong, China. The center has been set up to provide extensive services including software development, systems management, data analysis and statistical analysis to clients in China and around the world. The facility is Acxiom’s second GSC outside the US, after Poland.
Acxiom offers both offline and online marketing solutions. The company said that the GSC is part of Acxiom’s infrastructure investment to strengthen marketing delivery capability in China and the region. Nantong, the company said, was chosen because of the close proximity to universities and colleges, which would feed into the talent pool.
Acxiom CEO Meyer said that with China being amongst the most populous nations in the world and one that has a growing sophisticated consumer base, marketers see an “increased need” to invest in interactive approach to tap on this expanding sophistication. “Acxiom is looking forward to working with our clients to create and manage a more personable dialogue with their customers through our range of multichannel marketing solutions.” He said the GSC will have a major role in the delivery of Acxiom's marketing services. |
