Human resources, payroll and benefits administration services provider ADP has agreed to acquire privately-held Workscape, Inc., a provider of integrated benefits and compensation solutions and services.
The Marlborough, Mass. based Workscape serves a broad client base, including some that feature in the list of Fortune's top 250 companies. It provides solutions to over 3.5 million users across 180 countries, 48 currencies and 70 languages.
ADP said the acquisition will expand its presence within the benefits marketplace for large, complex organizations. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of this calender year and is subject to customary closing conditions, including the expiration of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act. ADP said the transaction is not subject to financing, though it did not disclose the terms of the proposed agreement. |
