Unified communications firm Aspect has won two awards from growth consulting firm Frost & Sullivan for its work in India. It received the Price Performance Value award for unified contact centre solutions and emerged as a leader in outbound systems in India for the sixth year running.
Frost & Sullivan presents the Price Performance Value award to companies offering customers solutions and services that provide the highest ratio of value to cost. It presents this award to companies with the most insight into customer needs and demands, taking into account price, ease of use, features, service support and product customizations. The market leadership award is preented to organisations demonstrating excellence in capturing highest market share within their industries, excelling in all areas of market share leadership with demonstrated strategy development.
Mohammad Saif, Deputy Director, Consulting - ICT Practice, South Asia, Frost & Sullivan, said that despite declining offshore activities, Aspect was able to maintain its business in the domestic segment on account of its blend of product features and price. Focus on customer care and high reliability, he said, were key concerns that are well-addressed by Aspect, and while the market is currently driven by basic applications, as a vendor Aspect provides a mix of applications will find significant traction in the market.
Rajeev Soni, General Manager India, Mid-East, Aspect, India said his company expect 2010 to be an equally successful year as the past six years. According to Frost & Sullivan, Aspect was awarded for its industry-leading outbound dialing solutions designed to help companies provide proactive customer service, improve collections, and enhance sales. Aspect, it said, has made significant inroads into the telecom and outsourcing industries by capturing almost 55 percent of the outbound calling market in India and dominating the SMB segment. |
