Anti-virus software makers AVG Technologies has signed a license agreement with Tific, a company that provides support automation solutions, that will see the free anti-virus company implement the latter's Click ‘n’ Fix solution to enhance customer service by automated the remediation of common, recurring technical problems.
Clent Richardson, Chief Operating Officer, AVG Technologies, said that sometimes it could be a challenge to follow all the technical instructions to solve issues caused by a virus or suspicious activity. “This is what we are going to change and we hope this will help our customers to enjoy their digital lives without any unwanted stress”, he said.
Ticfic provides self-healing support automation solutions for enterprise IT operations, IT outsourcers, Tech Support Providers, Internet Service Providers, and software and hardware vendors. Click ‘n’ Fix, when integrated into AVG’s customer support knowledge base, will allow its 110 million customers to follow steps offered by the knowledge base, or alternatively, select the Click ‘n Fix option to fix problems automatically. This would bypass complex technical instructions for relatively non-technical users, which AVG hopes will improve the success rate of customer self-service and increase overall customer satisfaction. |
