Furthering its investment in virtualization and cloud management, CA Technologies has acquired privately-held 4Base Technology, a virtualization and cloud infrastructure consulting firm, for undisclosed terms.
4Base will have a new avatar in the form of the CA Virtualization and Cloud Strategy group, a competency practice within the CA Services division. Adam Elster, general manager of CA Services said the company is investing in both software and consulting services that are needed to achieve “substantial business results”, which is where 4Base comes in having worked with a number of customers across the spectrum of virtualization and cloud technologies. He said, “4Base has developed a broad base of skills, knowledge and experience that will play a critical role in CA Technologies ability to help customers quickly plan, adopt and execute transformative strategies and technologies that make their business more agile.” |
