CA Technologies buys telecom consultant Torokina Networks |

CA Technologies has acquired privately-held Torokina Networks, a Sydney-based company that helps in the delivery of state-of-  the-art service assurance management solutions to 3G, 4G and Long Term Evolution (LTE) communications service providers (CSPs) worldwide. Details about the terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The acquisition will help CA Technologies expand the support of its service assurance portfolio for advanced network devices and equipment leveraged by CSPs for their rapidly-growing mobile voice and data environments, the company said in a statement announcing the acquisition. The two companies have a history of working together with CSPs to solve these market requirements. Post the acquisition, the target company's operations and employees, would be part of the Service Assurance business of CA Technologies. |
