| CSC joins Google’s new cloud transformation program |
CSC has joined Google’s Cloud Transformation Program as a participant and will help enterprise customers build business solutions that take advantage of the computing power, scalability and security of Google’s cloud services. CSC will apply its global technology consulting, cloud implementation expertise and solutions organization to sell and deliver IT solutions based on Google’s cloud services. To date, CSC and Google have worked together on public sector contracts as well as commercial pursuits across Europe and the United States. CSC said it will also invest in expertise, knowledge management and intellectual capital around Google platforms globally to develop custom applications on Google App Engine, business process outsourcing and data analytics solution offerings. “CSC has a proven track record of applying our business and technology consulting, systems integration proficiency and cloud expertise to help customers use Google cloud platforms on an enterprise-wide scale,” said James Cook, president, Business Solutions and Services, CSC. “As an initial member of the Cloud Transformation Program, we are excited to help businesses quickly implement Google’s cloud services and accelerate their IT modernization programs, reduce costs and increase agility.” The Cloud Transformation Program highlights Google partners who have expertise and a demonstrated ability to help businesses make the most of their IT investments.
