EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC) announced on January 4th, that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Kansas-based Archer Technologies – a privately-held, fast-growing provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software. Archer has more than 6 million licensed users.
