Intel Corporation has said that its third-quarter revenue will most likely be below its previously-stated outlook of between $11.2 billion and $12 billion.
The company now expects third-quarter revenue to be $11 billion, plus or minus $200 million, factoring in the impact of weaker-than-expected demand for consumer PCs in mature markets, even though it is somewhat mitigated by slightly higher average selling prices from robust enterprise demand.
Intel said it now expects gross margins of around 66 percent, against the previously anticipated 67 percent. |
