Intuit Inc. has announced that it now offers its popular Intuit Online Payroll for the Google Apps platform, making it available to small business owners on the Google Apps Marketplace, Google's recently launched online storefront for Google Apps products and services. Intuit says small businesses can now easily and efficiently manage their payroll and other business tasks from an integrated online office environment.
Garret Seevers, group marketing manager for Intuit Online Payroll said that the company's acquisition of PayCycle and over a million payroll customers, Intuit wants to “ensure small businesses have access to the best tools, while still having the flexibility to choose the platform that best meets their needs.” He said that in addition to the Intuit App Center, business owners can now use Intuit Online Payroll within Google Apps.
 Formerly called PayCycle, the online payroll tool helps employers manage payroll with Google Apps, where employers and employees can use the service to create paychecks in minutes or check their paystubs. The product integrated with other Google Apps applications, allowing small business owners tocheck Intuit Online Payroll to see when they need to run payroll or pay their payroll taxes, and allowing employees to view their paycheck from Google Calendar.
Scott McMullan, Google Apps Partner Lead said the payroll provided best-in-class tool to “better integrate the employee related aspects of running their business within one seamless cloud application experience." Pricing for the Google Apps version starts at $39.00 per month. |
