Jack Henry & Associates has rebranded Pemco Technologies, which it acquired in October 2009, as JHA Payment Processing Solutions. The firm now operates as a division of Jack Henry & Associates, Inc.
E-Services general manager Terry McMullen said the separate brand “is the most effective marketing, sales, and customer support strategy for the payments products we sell outside our core client base to financial institutions that use virtually any core system.”
JHA was contractually obliged to carry out the re-branding within a year of acquiring the firm. An aggressive campaign is now underway to communicate the new brand to existing and prospective customers, and to the financial industry at-large. Products and services added to JHA's portfolio through the Pemco acquisition complement its ATM and debit card solutions with credit and prepaid card solutions. The company said it is now positioned to support financial institutions with a broader array of payment-related solutions that collectively support over 1,000 banks and credit unions. |
