Lawson Software to acquire SaaS HR provider Enwisen |

Lawson Software has said that it will acquire Enwisen, a software-as-a-service provider of human resource service delivery solutions that boasts numerous world’s leading companies as clients, for $70 million in cash.  Based in Novato, Calif., privately-owned Enwisen has around 260 customers, many that are part of the Fortune 1000 list. The company's AnswerSource HR Service Delivery suite helps companies improve delivery of HR services using fewer resources and lowering costs. Post the acquisition, Lawson Software said that HR service delivery will become a new strategic component of its Human Capital Management (HCM) System. Subject to customary regulatory approvals and approval by Enwisen’s shareholders, including a contingent earnout payment of $5 million cash if certain conditions are satisfied by June 30, 2012, Lawson expects the acquisition to close by the end of calender year 2010. |
