Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has announced the availability of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, the cloud version of the company's Dynamics CRM 2011 release, starting end February 2011. This takes Microsoft's CRM offering outside North America for the first time, opening it up to customers across 40 markets and in 41 languages.
Microsoft has priced the service at a promotional price of $34 per user per month for the first 12 months of service to companies with 15 to 250 users who are willing to be locked in with the software giant for a period of two years. Services of competitor Salesforce.com start at $75 per user per month while Oracle CRM On Demand has a starting price of $65 per user per month for the Professional edition and $125 per user per month for the Enterprise editions.
