Nokia has said that it completed the acquisition of Motally, Inc., initially announced on August 20, 2010 without disclosing the terms.
Founded in 2008, Motally Inc. is based in San Francisco and has patent-pending technology to ensure accurate data collection and analytic reporting for publishers' mobile sites. Motally's mobile analytics service enables developers and publishers to optimize the development of their mobile applications through increased understanding of how users engage. The service offering is planned to be adapted for Qt, Symbian, MeeGo and Java developers, Nokia said.
Motally currently employs a team of eight people, Nokia said.
