Shanda Interactive Entertainment (盛大互动娱乐有限公司) is a Chinese online gaming company. Headquartered in Shanghai, Shanda was founded in 1999. Shanda's games include AION, MapleStory, The World of Legend, The Sign, The Age, Magical Land, Ragnarok Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Bomb and Bubble, Shanda Rich Man and Warlord of the Three Kingdoms. Thanks to the enormous popularity of online gaming in China in recent years, the company's growth has been very fast. In 2009, Shanda Interactive launched the biggest IPO of the year in the US, raising US$ 1 billion. Shanda Interactive was the first Chinese software company to enter the Software Top 100 (interim update edition). Shanda is also 14th on the list of largest video game companies in the world, with over US$ 500 million of software revenues.
